The learning from home (BDR) process makes school-aged children interact more with gadgets because learning is done online. It is feared that increasing the intensity of ganget use will also increase the prevalence of the risk of attention deficit disorder and hyperactivity. The aim of this service is to form a child care group focused on dealing with the problem of gadget use in children as a prevention of the dangers of using gadgets for school-aged children during the COVID-19 pandemic. The method of implementing this service involves several stages of activities, namely identifying partner problems, designing service programs, implementing service programs, and monitoring, evaluating, and planning follow-up from the formation of child care groups. The targets for implementing the Assisted Village Service program are family welfare empowerment (PKK) administrators, dasawasma administrators, local neighborhood association (RT) administrators, and cadres.
2024-06-07T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 AgroNurse Kesehatan : Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat https://journal.unej.ac.id/ANK/article/view/948 Efforts to Improve Children's Health After Circumcision Through Flash Card Games 2024-05-20T12:41:02+07:00 Musviro Musviro musviro@unej.ac.id Nurul Hayati nurulhyt@unej.ac.id Sri Wahyuningsih sriwahyuningsih@unej.ac.id
The importance of understanding the health impacts after circumcision cannot be underestimated. This activity consisted of an initial assessment (pre-test), material presentation, and a final assessment (post-test). The pre-test results showed that most participants had limited knowledge about basic human needs. After presenting the material using interactive lectures and media such as PowerPoint and X Banners, the post-test results indicated a significant increase in participants' understanding. The material covered the importance of adequate sleep, physical activity, and herbs that can be used to address sleep disorders, such as pandan, lavender, jasmine, ginseng, nutmeg, and green tea. This knowledge improvement aligns with Maslow's theory on fulfilling basic physiological needs. The results of this activity demonstrate that health education conducted with appropriate methods and supported by effective media can positively impact the increase of knowledge and community health. Using personal protective equipment and having a healthy lifestyle is very important and must be maintained to decrease morbidity rates. In the COVID-19 pandemic conditions, special attention is also required so that the risk of contracting the virus can be maximally reduced. COVID-19-positive patients do not choose people and places; anyone who does not have a healthy lifestyle and is not in prime body condition could be infected with this virus, including in the Kalisat-Jember District. Handling this pandemic has been a process for the last few months and years, but public compliance still needs improvement, especially in public facilities. Even though there is no cure for COVID-19, transmission of this virus can be prevented, one of which is with the government's vaccination program. This program is currently in its second booster stage. The hope is that the wider community can and will be able to adapt to the Covid-19 virus. Therefore, health education aims to use a peer group approach to help people understand the benefits of booster vaccines.
2024-06-07T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2024 AgroNurse Kesehatan : Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat https://journal.unej.ac.id/ANK/article/view/933 Self-Talk Therapy as A Method for Managing Anxiety and Stress in The Community of RW 12 In the Gebang Village, Patrang District, Jember 2024-05-13T09:45:52+07:00 Afifah Tri Nurdiana enggalhadi.psik@unej.ac.id Muhammad Nur Yasin enggalhadi.psik@unej.ac.id Kirana Putri Salsabila enggalhadi.psik@unej.ac.id Enggal Hadi Kurniyawan enggalhadi.psik@unej.ac.id Erti Ikhtiarini Dewi erti_i.psik@unej.ac.id Yeni Fitria yeni.fitria@unej.ac.id Fitrio Deviantony fitrio.psik@unej.ac.id
Stress is a common issue experienced by individuals, characterized by feelings of pressure when faced with situations that deviate from their expectations.
