This has impacted the mental health status of school children, who must adapt to these changes. Schools play a crucial role in improving the mental health status of their students according to their authority. This service activity aims to: 1) Determine the mental health status of students in schools post-COVID-19 pandemic and 2) Enhance the knowledge and understanding of teachers and school staff regarding students' mental health based on early detection data obtained. Methods: The activity consists of two (2) phases: 1) Phase I involves early detection of students' mental health in grades IV, V, and VI using the SDQ-20, and 2) Phase II focuses on providing support and improving the knowledge and understanding of teachers and staff about the mental health of school children, which is measured through pre-tests and post-tests to assess the results of the support. The early detection activity revealed that 16.92% of students were classified in the "requiring consultation" category for mental health, and the mental health support provided to teachers and staff proved to enhance their understanding of mental health (an increase of 25.46%). The supportive activity, in the form of early detection of children's mental health and support for teachers and staff in improving children's mental health, benefits the school.
2023-12-24T00:00:00+07:00 Copyright (c) 2023 AgroNurse Kesehatan: Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat https://journal.unej.ac.id/ANK/article/view/497 Efforts to Increase Cadres Knowledge in Improving Fine Motorcy Development in Children Through Playdough Games 2023-12-11T11:11:04+07:00 Musviro Musviro musviro@unej.ac.id Nurul Hayati musviro@unej.ac.id Sri Wahyuningsih sriwahyuningsih@unej.ac.id Laili Nur Azlina musviro@unej.ac.id
Fine motor development takes longer to achieve than gross motor development, so fine motor development is one aspect of children's development that needs to be stimulated, one of which is through playing techniques. This is because during pregnancy nutritional needs are not only intended for the mother but are also needed for the growth and development of the fetus. Therefore, during pregnancy, the nutrition needed by pregnant women is more than when the mother is not pregnant. The method used in this service is in the form of providing training, where before the training activity participants are also given education regarding the importance of nutrition during pregnancy. The results obtained from this activity were an increase in pregnant women's knowledge about the importance of nutrition during pregnancy, namely from 40% to 80%, apart from that, the ability of pregnant women to process vegetables, especially carrots, also increased.
