Early detection of child development using anthropometric methods is necessary to determine the level of development speed in children, which aims to detect that the child is experiencing development that is too fast, too slow, or even normal development according to their age of growth and development. The purpose of this community service is for parents to understand and comprehend the progress of child development based on their child's age. The method used is participatory or interactive, which is done by measuring development and inviting children to color. Which is aimed at 82 students at Kartika IV-70 Jogotrunan Lumajang Kindergarten. The results obtained from this community service showed that 82 respondents' growth and development periods were regular, and there were no deviations. During the activity, participants followed well and enthusiastically and received good responses from participants and teachers at Kartika IV-70 Jogotrunan Lumajang Kindergarten.
Nurul Hayati, Musviro Musviro, Sri Wahyuningsih Copyright (c) 2025 AgroNurse Kesehatan : Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat https://journal.unej.ac.id/ANK/article/view/5632 Wed, 11 Jun 2025 00:00:00 +0700 The Effect of Bullying Prevention Education Through the "Stop Bullying" Snakes and Ladders Game Therapy on the Knowledge Level of 6th Grade Students at SDN Sukorambi 06 in Sukorambi Village, Sukorambi District, Jember Regency https://journal.unej.ac.id/ANK/article/view/5352
Bullying in schools is a serious issue that negatively affects both victims and perpetrators. According to PISA 2023, 41.1% of students in Indonesia experience bullying, highlighting the need for effective preventive measures. This study aims to improve the understanding of bullying among sixth-grade students at SDN Sukorambi 06 using Anti-Bullying Snakes and Ladders Media. The media is expected to help students avoid bullying behavior and understand steps to take when witnessing bullying. The methods used in this study include lectures, discussions, and play therapy with Snakes and Ladders media and leaflets as educational tools. The activities were conducted in three stages: preparation, implementation, and evaluation. The preparation stage included obtaining permissions, developing educational media, and creating research instruments. The implementation stage involved delivering health education and play therapy to enhance students' understanding of bullying. Evaluation was conducted using pre-test and post-test to measure the effectiveness of the intervention. Results showed a significant improvement in students' knowledge after the education with the Anti-Bullying Snakes and Ladders Media. Prior to the intervention, 45% of students had good knowledge, which increased to 75% after the education. The Paired t-test analysis yielded a p-value < 0.05, indicating that the game-based educational method is effective in improving students' understanding of bullying. Therefore, health education combined with Snakes and Ladders play therapy is an effective strategy in increasing awareness of bullying and preventing bullying in schools.
Toni Octakana, Holifatul Jannah, Ririn Nurhidayah, Enggal Hadi Kurniyawan, Erti Ikhtiarini Dewi, Emi Wuri Wuryaningsih, Fitrio Deviantony, Yeni Fitria, Niken Asih Laras Ati, Robby Prihadi Aulia Erlando Copyright (c) 2025 AgroNurse Kesehatan : Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat https://journal.unej.ac.id/ANK/article/view/5352 Fri, 13 Jun 2025 00:00:00 +0700 Health Education for Patients About " Anti Hypertension Exerciese" at Jember Hospital Clinic Polyclinic https://journal.unej.ac.id/ANK/article/view/5949
Hypertension is a non-communicable disease that remains a major health issue in Indonesia. Anxiety will be excessive if there is no balance between the challenges or stressors being faced and can cause significant suffering and distress. Atraumatic care is a restorative methodology to reduce pain, nervousness, and injury during medical care and also helps children and families survive through physical and mental stress. From the results of the researcher's observations, qualitative data was obtained through interviews with several nurses, most children experience anxiety and stressors ranging from 1-12 years of age. Therefore, this community service activity is in the form of the SI HARMONI program (Strategy for Improving Relationships, Activities, Relaxation, Motivation, Optimism, Nurturing, and Inclusion), namely a guide that contains guidelines on how to deal with atraumatic care in children aged 1-12 years and SOP for selected therapies that will be carried out by children according to their needs and age types using the Patient Centered Care (PCC) approach as a solution to reduce anxiety and stressors in hospitalized children when receiving invasive procedures and the focus of the intervention to be carried out is play therapy. The implementation of community service by empowering mothers aims to increase knowledge about food diversity for stunting prevention. The activity was carried out through education for 20 mothers with children after 0-2 years, and involved cadres, as well as village officials, in Pohjentrek District, Pasuruan. The measurement of changes in knowledge before and after education was conducted using a knowledge questionnaire on stunting and food diversity, and analyzed with a one-group t-test. The results showed a significant increase in the mean knowledge score of 4,7 between the groups before and after education (p=0.000; α=0.05). Increased knowledge of mothers about food diversity is expected to overcome micronutrient deficiencies that often occur in stunting conditions. Community empowerment, especially mothers as child caregivers, is an effort by nurses to prevent stunting in children. Nurses can collaborate with other health workers and experts in sectors such as economics, social, and environmental sanitation for a more holistic problem-solving approach.
Ira Rahmawati, Lantin, Dini Kurniawati, Peni Perdani Juliningrum, Nuning, Dwining Handayani Copyright (c) 2025 AgroNurse Kesehatan : Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat https://journal.unej.ac.id/ANK/article/view/5958 Fri, 13 Jun 2025 00:00:00 +0700 SIGAP TB: Family Synergy as the Key to Prevention and Management of Pulmonary Tuberculosis https://journal.unej.ac.id/ANK/article/view/5959
Pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) remains a serious public health issue in Indonesia, facing multidimensional challenges such as low family awareness, social stigma, and poor treatment adherence. The community service program “Family Synergy in Pulmonary TB Prevention and Management” (SIGAB TB) aims to improve family health literacy through education on TB recognition, transmission prevention, and treatment management. The method combines educational approaches and direct practice through training sessions involving lectures, discussions, and simulations. The program is organized into three main stages: orientation, implementation, and closing. Evaluation results demonstrated a significant increase in participants’ average knowledge scores from 61,3% to 80%, reflecting the success of health education in recognizing TB, preventing transmission, and emphasizing treatment adherence. This approach strengthens the family’s role as a key agent in breaking the TB transmission chain and supporting successful therapy. The synergy between families and healthcare workers is essential to optimize TB control in the community. These activities highlight the need for contextual and sustainable educational programs to achieve comprehensive TB elimination
Jon Hafan Sutawardana, Ana Nistiandani, Siswoyo, Nur Widayati, Mulia Hakam Copyright (c) 2025 AgroNurse Kesehatan : Jurnal Pengabdian Masyarakat https://journal.unej.ac.id/ANK/article/view/5959 Fri, 13 Jun 2025 00:00:00 +0700
