EFEKTIVITAS KINERJA PELAYANAN SUROBOYO BUS MELALUI AKSES APLIKASI GOBIS

Abstract

The problems of transportation in urban areas are so complex, especially the problems of mass public transportation services, which until now have not been able to overcome the problem of traffic congestion. Based on the problems above, the City of Surabaya in 2018 presents the Suroboyo Bus operational service which is equipped with the GOBIS (Golek Bus) application with a capacity of 67 passengers. The above application was developed by the Surabaya City Transportation Service, which aims to monitor the movement (tracking) of the Suroboyo Bus in real-time and find out the distance between stops through the time table feature. The research method used was a primary survey to determine the suitability of travel time in the field with the time table feature in the GOBIS application.

Permasalahan transportasi di perkotaan begitu kompleks, khususnya permasalahan layanan angkutan umum massal, yang hingga saat ini belum mampu mengatasi permasalahan kemacetan lalu lintas. Berpijak pada permasalahan di atas, maka Kota Surabaya di Tahun 2018 menghadirkan layanan operasional Suroboyo Bus yang dilengkapi dengan Aplikasi GOBIS (Golek Bus) dengan kapasitas 67 penumpang. Aplikasi di atas dikembangkan oleh Dinas Perhubungan Kota Surabaya yang bertujuan untuk memantau pergerakan (tracking) Suroboyo Bus secara real-time dan mengetahui jarak tempuh antar halte melalui fitur time-table. Metode penelitian yang dilakukan adalah survei primer guna mengetahui kesesuaian waktu tempuh di lapangan dengan fitur time-table yang ada di aplikasi GOBIS.
