ANALISIS EFEKTIVITAS YELLOW BOX JUNCTION TERHADAP KINERJA SIMPANG EMPAT S. PARMAN - BELITUNG KOTA BANJARMASIN

Abstract

This study aims to determine the suitability of the Yellow Box Junction (YBJ) markings to the applicable standards and to determine the effectiveness of the Yellow Box Junction (YBJ) markings on the performance of the intersection of Jalan S. Parman - Belitung, Banjarmasin City. The research method used is a field survey to determine the suitability, service level, and percentage of YBJ violators. The results of the research on Jalan Simpang Empat S. Parman - Belitung, Banjarmasin City, the degree of saturation is 0.23 including the service level B, this condition is in the stable current zone. Based on the function of the YBJ markers, it can be concluded that the YBJ markers are not effective in improving the performance of the Simpang Empat S. Parman - Belitung Road, Banjarmasin City.

ABSTRAK

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kesesuaian marka Yellow Box Junction (YBJ) terhadap standar yang berlaku dan untuk mengetahui efektivitas marka Yellow Box Junction (YBJ) terhadap kinerja simpang empat Jalan S. Parman - Belitung Kota Banjarmasin. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah dengan survei lapangan untuk mengetahui kesesuaian, tingkat pelayanan, dan persentase pelanggar YBJ. Hasil penelitian di Jalan Simpang Empat S. Parman - Belitung Kota Banjarmasin didapat derajat kejenuhan (DS) sebesar 0,23 termasuk tingkat pelayanan B, kondisi ini dalam zona arus stabil. Berdasarkan fungsi dari marka YBJ dapat disimpulkan bahwa marka YBJ tidak efektif dalam meningkatkan kinerja Jalan Simpang Empat S. Parman - Belitung Kota Banjarmasin.
