PELUANG EFISIENSI DISTRIBUSI KOMODITAS EKSPOR MELALUI PENINGKATAN AKSES INFRASTRUKTUR TRANSPORTASI (STUDI KASUS: KOMODITAS KOPI GAYO, ACEH)

Abstract

Transportation infrastructure plays an important role as a driving sector and lever of economic activity,
ensuring connectivity inter-regions and facilitating the flow of goods effectively and efficiently. This paper
explores opportunities to improve the distribution efficiency of local key commodities with export value in the
central part of Aceh, namely Gayo coffee. This paper illustrates and describes the existing distribution process
of the commodity of Gayo coffee, from the origin of production to the export node. There are indications of
new opportunities to improve the efficiency of commodity distribution through increasing access to the
transportation infrastructure.

ABSTRAK

Infrastruktur transportasi memegang peran penting sebagai sektor pendorong dan pengungkit aktivitas
ekonomi, menjamin konektivitas antar wilayah serta memperlancar arus barang secara efektif dan efisien.
Makalah ini mengeksplorasi peluang peningkatan efisiensi distribusi komoditas kunci lokal bernilai ekspor di
wilayah Aceh bagian tengah, yaitu kopi Gayo. Dalam makalah ini digambarkan dan dijelaskan proses distribusi
komoditas kopi Gayo mulai dari lokasi asal produksi menuju simpul ekspor. Terdapat indikasi peluang baru
dalam rangka meningkatkan efisiensi distribusi komoditas melalui peningkatan akses infrastruktur transportasi.
