KKN UNEJ 274 REBRANDING ANGKRINGAN "UWANDALAN", WITH THE INNOVATION OF ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY COCONUT SHELL BRIQUETTES

This article aims to discuss about the development of angkringan was accompanied by the birth of innovation in using coconut shell briquettes as an alternative fuel, by reviewing the advantages in reducing carbon emissions, and improving the air quality around the angkringan, to create the environmentally friendly "UWANDALAN" angkringan. The development of the "UWANDALAN" angkringan was carried out with a strategy of rebranding the menu, physical form, logo and social media, while the application of using coconut shell briquettes began with socialization and demonstration with Karang Taruna. The service activities lasted for six weeks and were composed of a series of activities in the form of village observations, socialization on making coconut shell briquettes, and the Grand Opening of a new style of "UWANDALAN" angkringan as the main work program. This service is carried out in order to empower the community as quality human resources who have the potential to be able to see opportunities in the surrounding environment, as an active role in achieving a sustainable, independent village.
