COVID-19 PREVENTION EFFORTS IN BLINDUNGAN VILLAGE THROUGH COMMUNITY ASSISTANCE

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic worldwide has had a tremendous impact; various sectors, including the economy and education, got a high impact, and habits and lifestyles must change with this outbreak. Indonesia's government enforces many policies to break Covid-19 spreading, such as limiting interactions outside the home, which is happening at this time. Blindungan Village was also not spared from the spread of the Covid-19 outbreak. Many Blindungan Village residents do not comply with health protocols as recommended by the government. Therefore exceptional follow-up is needed to overcome this. With the community service program, the University of Jember service team wants to increase residents' knowledge about the new adaptation era of Covid-19 through community assistance in Blindungan Village. The service team carried out 30 days of service from August-September 2021. With the assistance of 30 days, the Blindungan Village community began to understand prevention efforts and how to live during the new adaptation era of Covid-19..
