https://journal.unej.ac.id/JPM/article/view/4143

Penambangan Village is a village located in Curahdami District, Bondowoso Regency. The majority of residents who are members of the Mining Village PKK work as tape sellers. Most of the cassava tape sellers in Mining Village sell the tape directly or in semi-finished condition without processing it into a more attractive product. Seeing these conditions, this community service activity carried out training in making prol tape products for the PKK members of the Mining Village. The aim is to increase the knowledge of the people in the village regarding the processing of tape products and improve skills in making tape diversification into product tape with a higher selling value. This service method is carried out using discussion and practice methods in several stages, namely preparation, implementation of service and evaluation. The result of this community service is that PKK members as training participants in this service program are very enthusiastic in the practice of making prol tape products, apart from that the participants have skills in making prol tape products, so they can continue to produce products that have a higher selling value.

Dian PurbasariSiti Sofiyah

https://journal.unej.ac.id/JPM/article/view/1525

The community service program in Wates Kulon Village, Lumajang Regency, focuses on the utilization
of coconut waste, particularly coconut husks and shells, to produce briquettes as an alternative solid fuel.
Coconut waste in the village has been underutilized, leading to lost economic opportunities. The program's
objectives were to enhance local economic independence by converting coconut waste into high-value
briquettes and to improve villagers' skills through training and outreach. The activities included
identifying the village's potential, training on briquette production, and developing effective marketing
strategies, resulting in a profitable and sustainable business model. The findings show that the briquettes
produced have high calorific value and are competitive in the market, with a profit margin of Rp5,553.00
per kilogram. The training sessions empowered 43 participants with new technical skills and marketing
knowledge, enabling them to generate additional income. The program also received positive feedback
from local government officials, aligning with the village's mission to enhance economic welfare through
sustainable resource utilization. Overall, the program successfully contributed to the village's economic
independence by transforming coconut waste into a valuable product, supporting the broader goals of
sustainable development and poverty reduction.
Rafi Achmad FahrezaAnggun OktaviantiHidayatul Alim NurlailiYahya Ayyasy SyuhadaNaulus Sa’adahMuhamad Habil RahmanAhmad Syarif HidayatullahIndah Fatimatus ZahroShopiana DewiRizka FaradillaSafa Anindya Kaenori Prasetyawan

https://journal.unej.ac.id/JPM/article/view/4389

Education is essential for every individual, as everyone has the right to grow through learning. Education is fostered by promoting a culture of reading, writing, and numeracy for all members of society. Despite achieving a 99.1% literacy rate, Indonesia still struggles with a low reading culture. It appears that literacy skills do not necessarily correlate with people's interest in reading. To address this, a literacy program aimed at boosting students' reading interest through the development of a digital library was implemented at MTs Bustanul Ulum in Locare Village. The KKN Back To Village III program, which took place from August 11 to September 9, 2021, focused on the theme of "Returning to Home." During the four-week program, it was discovered that the principal and teachers of MTs Bustanul Ulum desired to have library facilities at the school. Although some students showed an interest in reading, this was hindered by their lack of motivation, preventing an increase in reading interest. As a result of the program, MTs Bustanul Ulum now has library facilities to support teaching and learning activities. However, the program did not have a significant impact on the students' reading interest, suggesting that future programs should place more emphasis on fostering students' enthusiasm for reading.
Ahmad Ahya AsadiAgustin Wulan Suci Dharmayanti

https://journal.unej.ac.id/JPM/article/view/4391

At the beginning of 2020, Indonesia was shocked by the presence of the corona virus or the covid-19 virus. It's been a year since Covid-19 is still spreading in Indonesia and it also has an impact on various sectors, one of which is the economic sector. This impact is also felt by the corn chip business in Gedog Village, Sananwetan District, Blitar City. This impact is in the form of a decrease in the level of sales that has been felt and also has an impact on the level of production of corn chips. Seeing these conditions, with the KKN Back To Village activity, it is hoped that students who undergo KKN will be able to help empower entrepreneurs who are affected by Covid-19 through entrepreneurial education in the form of developing innovation and product marketing so that entrepreneurs can survive during the Covid-19 pandemic. The method of implementing KKN Back To Village is carried out by compiling work programs including education on offline marketing through souvenir shops, online marketing education through e-commerce, and education on good bookkeeping systems for businesses. The implementation of KKN Back To Village has had a positive impact, such as expanding business marketing and increasing knowledge of the bookkeeping system for small businesses.
Anggreda Ratih Swastika DeviDwi Warna Aju Fatmawati

2024-12-272024-12-273226827410.19184/jpmunej.v3i2.4391INNOVATION IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF A PUBLIC HEALTH INFORMATION SYSTEM TO CREATE A COVID-19 RESILIENT ENVIRONMENT
https://journal.unej.ac.id/JPM/article/view/4393

The Covid-19 pandemic is a new virus outbreak that has affected the world since 2019, forcing countries to take preventive and rapid actions to combat the virus. The goal is to avoid a large number of casualties due to this new virus. One of the actions taken is the implementation of health protocols, such as the 3M (wearing masks, washing hands, and maintaining distance), which aims to reduce the risk of increasingly rapid transmission of Covid-19. In addition, innovations are needed to continue to curb the transmission and impact of Covid-19. One such innovation is the Jember University Back to Village II KKN program, which is part of the university's community service mission. In this program, Jember University students developed a Public Health Information System to raise public awareness and concern for health during the Covid-19 pandemic. The activities were carried out in RT 06 RW 09, Patrang Village. The students conducted outreach, training, and mentoring on the Public Health Information System program. Three key areas were explained to the public: Public Health Information Flow, Public Health Information Card, and Community Contributions. By implementing these programs, the aim is to create a Covid-19 resilient environment, starting with public understanding, awareness, and responsibility for maintaining their health—personally, within their families, and in their communities. When all elements of society work together to implement the Public Health Information System, it is hoped that the transmission of Covid-19 can be reduced, and its impacts can be mitigated.
Adi Pradana Rahmatullah ZainAgustin Wulan Suci Dharmayanti
