Abstract

The purpose of this study is to distinguish the ability of mathematical connections between students who apply learning to provide mathematical problems based on Lesson Study for Learning Community (LSLC) based on mathematical connection indicators. This study uses methods, namely collaborative learning and caring community. Collaborative learning, student involvement to cooperate with a group of friends, while Caring Community, students are trained to embrace friends in group activities, so that with the aim of these elements can improve students' mathematical connection capabilities. Students understand in solving mathematical connection questions. LSLC research emphasizes the discussion on how students learn and are groked with closest friends.
