Abstract

In the land of Blambangan. The splendor of the Ijen Banyuwangi Geopark is located between 2 regencies, namely Banyuwangi Regency and parts of Bondowoso Regency, East Java Province. Geotourism is tourism of special interest by exploiting the potential of natural resources such as landforms, rocks, geological structures and earth history, so that it is necessary to increase the enrichment of insight and understanding of the processes of natural physical phenomena. Ijen Geopark is one of the tourist attractions which includes several parts. It has tourism elements that link nature, economics and socio-culture of the local community involved in the development of this Ijen Geopark tourist attraction. Ijen is one of the most active volcanoes in the Ijen caldera system. Geopark places significant emphasis on the education sector, using several ongoing work programs, namely: Geopark Goes to School, School Goes to Geopark, and Geopark Corner.
