DEVELOPING INNOVATIVE LEARNING RESOURCES BASED ON GOOGLE CLASSROOM IN HISTORY LEARNING TO IMPROVE ANALYTICAL SKILLS USING ASSURE MODEL

Abstract

Independence Learning new paradigm and the immense development of technology in the 21st century lead significant shift towards history learning. History teachers are required to obtain innovation skills in adjusting themselves due to the era requirement. 4.0 Industrial Revolution needs students’ competence in analyzing, yet the previous research indicate the low level of students’ analytical skill. This study is a research and development that attempts to provide alternative solution regarding the lack of students’ analytical skill using innovative learning resources based google classroom with ASSURE model. The first stage result shows the low percentage of students analytical skill of 44.00%. This research and development generates a product in term of google classroom which has been validated by the experts and users. The learning source was design in accordance with students’ characterstics and based on users need analysis. The results of content expert validation to the google classroom product is 76%, which is categorized as adequate, the sumber belajar expert is 80% with adequate category, the language expert is 90% with very adequate category. The teachers users test found 94% product is very proper.The small group test found the incline of students’ analytical skill average is 82.8%. The conclusion of this research and development of innovative learning resources based on google classroom is proper to be used and proved to improve students’ analytical skill. The recommendation made based on the result is the need to do further research to identify the effect if google classroom sumber belajar towards students analytical skills.
