Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the performance of public services at the Jember Regency Agriculture Service, to identify and identify elements of its deficiencies or weaknesses. The method of data collection uses a descriptive method. The data is required in the form of primary data and secondary data obtained from the relevant agencies. The population is all people who receive services within the Jember Regency Regional Agriculture Service. Data analysis used a community satisfaction index. In general, the acquisition of IKM at the Department of Food Crops, Horticulture and Plantation in Jember Regency obtained an Index Value of 78.56. The IKM value lies in the value of the IKM conversion interval between 62.51 to 81.25 which describes the performance of public services organized by the Food Crops, Horticulture and Plantation Service in 2021 with the category for Service Quality "B" GOOD performance. The average results per service element that show an average value above 3.00 are service requirements, costs, the competence of implementers, the attitude of implementers, handling of complaints, suggestions and in,puts and infrastructure. Meanwhile, those that show an average value below 3.00 are service procedures, service, time and conformity of service products with realization requiring special attention so that service quality is getting better. Recommendations are the Improvement and strengthening of supporting facilities and infrastructure, especially at the Extension Center (BPP) level. It is recommended to increase the capacity of extension centers to strengthen data actualization and cyber extension.
