Abstract

The purpose of this research is to analyze the increase in social functioning in drug trafficking (WBP) crimes through craft work skills. This article was written using qualitative research with the phenomenological type. Informants were selected using purposive sampling, namely WBP and correctional institution officers (LAPAS). The research results show that the training aims to provide work skills and independence as provisions when returning to society. LAPAS act as People Changing Technologies which aims to change the attributes of WBP so that they can improve social functioning. Training and skills development is carried out routinely and on a limited basis. Limited coaching has a certain time limit. Meanwhile, routine coaching is carried out every day and is not limited by time. WBP can produce products that are marketed at https://giatjalajer.my.id. Through training, the inmates will receive a premium in the form of profit sharing from the products produced.
