The elderly population, aged 60 years and above, is rapidly increasing globally, including in Indonesia, where growth projections are significant. Aging often brings declines in physical and cognitive functions, heightening susceptibility to falls, a major health concern leading to injuries, reduced independence, and higher healthcare costs. This article conducts a systematic literature review to analyze factors influencing fall prevention among elderly in healthcare facilities. It underscores the value of multifaceted approaches integrating environmental modifications, patient education, family engagement, and proper medication management. Personalized interventions tailored to individual needs are emphasized. By amalgamating insights from diverse disciplines, the article proposes a comprehensive framework for effective fall prevention programs in healthcare settings. Implementing these strategies promises to substantially reduce fall rates, enhance elderly quality of life, and alleviate healthcare system burdens.
