Abstract

Strategic management in healthcare is pivotal in addressing the dynamic challenges and complexities of modern health systems. This article examines the "Dynaxity" theory introduced by Huebner and Flessa, highlighting the dynamics of uncertainty and complexity in healthcare services. The study also utilises Porter's Five Forces Theory to analyse market dynamics and develop effective competitive strategies. The application of Peter Drucker's knowledge worker concept and transformational leadership by James MacGregor Burns and Bernard M. Bass emphasises the importance of innovation and employee development in enhancing service quality. Findings indicate that strategic management implementation requires political support, systematic training, and collaboration between management and staff. In conclusion, a comprehensive and collaborative approach to strategic management can enhance competitiveness and service quality in healthcare, ensuring successful strategy implementation in a challenging environment. Keywords: strategic management, healthcare services, Dynaxity, transformational leadership.
