Author Guidelines

The author must send the manuscript online by first registering as an author to the website https://jurnal.unej.ac.id/index.php/ECEJ/user/register

for every submitted article, the author is obliged to follow the terms and conditions in accordance with Style Guide ofJurnal JECER : Journal of Early Childhood Education and Research (can be downloaded on the Style Guide page)
Instructions for author of  JECER : Journal of Early Childhood Education and Research
Articles submitted to the Journal are usually between 4,000 to 6,000 words or a maximum of 20 single-spaced pages and must be accompanied by an abstract of 150-200 words, which contains a brief description of the entire article or scientific paper, which contains the objectives, methods, and research results.
In the abstract, it is written clearly in bold: Introduction, method, results of discussion, conclusion and bibliography.
Under the abstract, about three to five article keywords with a font size of 10 spaced 1.
The journal maintains a peer review process and promotes blind review. To facilitate this process, the author's name (without an academic degree), institutional affiliation, and the e-mail address of the author concerned must be listed only on the removable cover sheet.
Articles must be written in Indonesian or English in one space, using Microsoft Word, font size 12, Times New Roman, top and left margins 4 cm, bottom and right margins 3 cm, A4 size.
Insert a header on even pages showing the Journal name, Volume, Number, month, and year, as well as the publication page number. On odd pages, enter the author and a few words from the article title.
Write the main body of the article in two columns.
Block quotes must be indented 1 cm with a font size of 12.
For research-based articles, the framework used is: introduction (without title or subtitle), methods, results and discussion, conclusions, and references.
The title must be capital letters, in the middle, with a font size of 14 BOLD, Maximum 20 words
The introduction must consist of the background of the research, the urgency of the research, the literature review, and the research objectives. All introductions should be presented in paragraph form, not pointers, with a proportion of 15-20% of the overall length of the article.
The method section consists of a description of research materials and procedures, data sources, data collection, instruments, and data analysis with a proportion of 10-15% of the total length of the article, all of which are presented in paragraph form.
The results and discussion section consists of a description of the results of data analysis for research and their meaning seen from the latest theories and references from the intended area. The proportion of this section is 40-60% of the total length of the article.
The conclusion section consists of a summary, restatement of results and main discussion.
Use only horizontal lines when using tables. Put the table number and table title on it
Every source cited in the body of the article must be included in the reference, and all sources listed in the reference must be cited in the body of the article.
The sources cited are at least 80% from those published in the last 10 years. The sources cited are primary sources in the form of journal articles, books, and research reports, including theses and dissertations. Quotations from journals of at least 80% of the total references cited
Quotations are made using brackets (last name and year of publication).
The proof will be sent to the author for correction and must be returned to Jecer@unej.ac.id before the deadline given.
Quotations and references follow the APA style and the latter should be included at the end of the article in the following example:
