Abstract

The rapid development of building infrastructure requires a more integrated development system. Building Information Modeling (BIM) is a technology that supports the construction process. Details of the volume of work implementation or Quantity Taken are features of BIM that help use BIM 5D. Quantity Take-off calculations based on BIM are more precise and detailed than conventional systems. One of the software supporting BIM is Autodesk Revit. Autodesk Revit helps design construction buildings in 3D. The At-Ta'Awun Tower Building Construction Project, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surabaya, has not used the Building Information Modeling (BIM) method in its implementation and uses conventional methods with Autocad and Microsoft Excel software in calculating its Quantity take-off. Based on this, a review will be carried out on the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) 5D in the construction of the At-Ta'awun Tower Building, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surabaya, which aims to obtain QTO and RAB results and BIM-based work duration. The research steps include data collection, 3D modeling with Autodesk Revit 2024 software, clash detection, Quantity take off for budget plan, MS Project scheduling plan, and scheduling simulation with Autodesk Navisworks Manage 2024. The application of BIM to the At-Ta'awun tower building construction project, Universitas Muhammadiyah Surabaya, found 3D modeling consisting of lower structure and upper structure work by producing Quantity take off. From the BIM-based quantity take-off results on Autodesk Revit 2024 software, the total work for concreting was 5079.53 m3, reinforcement 1439028.23 kg, and formwork 32653.00 m2. The Budget Plan was obtained at Rp54,860,928,276.00, and the scheduling planning (schedule) duration required to complete the structural work is 308 calendar days. This study shows that 5D BIM can reduce the risk of volume errors, improve the efficiency of time and cost planning, and provide effective integration of technical and visual data for construction project management.
