This research aims to explain the effect of compensation on employee performance. Employee performance is an important thing to pay attention to, because the success of a company depends on the performance provided by its employees. The object of this research is UD. Jaya Abadi Situbondo. UD. Jaya Abadi is a company that produces raw or ready-to-fry tofu. This research uses a quantiative approach with a sample of 40 production employees. The data collection technique used in this research was a questionnaire. The data analysis method used is a simple liniear regression analysis method using the T Test hypothesis test and the coefficient of determination tes using the SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) application. The result of this research show that compensation has a positive and significant effect, which means that the more compensation given, the higher the employee’s performance.
