Partisipasi Masyarakat dalam Perencanaan Pembangunan di Desa Sidomekar

Abstract

This study aims to describe the level of community participation based on its implementation mechanisms in development planning in Sidomekar Village, Semboro Subdistrict, Jember Regency. This research employs a qualitative descriptive approach through interviews, observations, and documentation. It uses the community participation ladder concept by Muluk (2007). The results show that based on Muluk's (2007) participation ladder, the level of community participation in the preparation of the 2024 Village Government Work Plan (RKPDes) in Sidomekar Village is at a moderate level, which is on the consultation rung, with instances of manipulation in the involvement of community elements in the village meetings and village development planning meetings.
